i decided on the school of the art institute of chicago a few weeks ago
would you buy a screen-printed shirt from me? do you like ( this or this or this or this or this ) ? (these would be single-color prints) would you rather have it printed on a cheap shirt ($10 $14) or printed on high quality American Apparel shirt (about $25)?

05:22 pm - what a sad world "Will "C" Soon be for Cauliflower? Cookie Cutting on Sesame Street! Word on the street (well, Sesame Street) is that Cookie Monster is going healthy. Seems that since one of the new focuses of the popular children's show will be on teaching kids to eat better, Cookie Monster's cookie intake will be severely reduced. He won't actually be counting points or carbs, but he'll definitely be learning about moderation and will even perform a song called "A Cookie is a Sometimes Food." While we're extremely concerned about the growing childhood obesity problem in this country, we're not quite sure how we feel about Cookie Monster's curbed cookie-munching. Can't he just make the switch over to Rising Dough?"

01:53 pm im going back and forth about which school i should go to next year and im going a little bit insane because i should really be working on housing and stuff by now. how am i suppose to really know which place is better for me? sometimes chicago seems to have so much more, and then kansas city is so nice because its in a more relaxed atmosphere and everyone gets their own studio space freshman year, and chicago is such a hectic city but maybe i could adjust just fine, and i was more impressed with student work at chicago but i dont know if that should be any deciding factor... .. . . . .. . . . . . .... . . . . . and im thinking about this when i have a 10 page paper due today that im still in the process of research and brainstorming for.., . . . . .. . ..

10:56 pm Anyone in the Chicago area should go see this show, I stopped in on it somewhat randomly but I really enjoyed it. It included dinosaurs made out of melted jollyranchers, and lots of flowers balloons, colorful and childish murals and portraits, childish paintings of castles and scribbles and ghosts... I took some really great shots of the show but none of my photos from chicago are going to come out because the film wasn't loaded correctly because I guess i am really dumb and im a very very sad. I went to the opening there and it was kind of strange because there were only about eight very artsy people there and it was in an someone's apartment but it was my favorite part of the trip.

When I woke this morning in Hannah's bed, there was a drop of blood, untouched, on the inside of my right arm. I never figured out where it came from , there wasn't any kind of wound underneath when I wiped it away. It seemed like a drop of blood had seeped through my skin. Now, as I look at my arm again, that must be what happened; there is still a very small spot of blood there that returns when I wipe it away. I have a few of these tiny spots on my arms, they look like very small freckles, but never have they leaked that much blood. (Ive also been finding new bruises on my body almost everyday.)
last night: went to two art openings with Hannah, did some star-spotting at the Paramount where the Wilson brothers premiered their new film, someone gave me a really great kaleidescope

11:53 pm in my dream last night we were swimming through deep creek water, the sky was cloudy. i started noticing snakes in the water and the trees surrounding us. one of them tried to curl around my leg and you pulled me away from it. we continued swimming and a man informed us of the sea of snakes ahead that we had to swim through to keep going. and we swam through it together wrapped in the serpents, and it wasn't so bad. at some point we got out of the water, and then we were on the indian countryside walking to a bus station. we saw princes in colorful clothing. we went to the creek today and i told you about my dream when i saw large vine roots emerging from the ground.

07:01 pm i like how my dad still hasn't learned that i STILL don't eat seafood. says (in the most patronizing tone) "it's going to be a difficult life carson." "why" and the only thing he can come up with is "a lot of people eat seafood."
